Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is an authentic representation of a once thriving community of canneries, boat yards, and residences, along the scenic shores of the Fraser River. Tour the oldest shipyard buildings in British Columbia, as you experience a bygone time when fishing and boatbuilding were flourishing industries on the Fraser River. Many of the buildings date back to 1885 and tell the stories of the diverse community of residents and workers in the historic fishing village of Steveston. The collection of heritage buildings has national value and was designated a National Historic Site in 1992.

The Wild Turkey Inn is set in a Victorian heritage home, built in 1896, during the time of Rosslands famous Gold Rush. Three blocks from downtown, we are a self-catering lodge with a total of three guest rooms.

We fish from April to June in Nanoose Bay, near Nanaimo for Chinook, then move over to Port Alberni, Barkley Sound and Bamfield from June to September. We are Transport Canada certified, and our guides are CTAG certified - ensuring you have a safe, productive and fun filled trip. We only use the best fishing tackle available to maximize your experience. If you are looking for multi-day lodge trips we specialize in placing our guests in lodges in Bamfield and Barkley Sound. We offer trips customized to large corporate teams, as well as families with children. Our goal is to create a fishing experience that meets your diverse interests, creating long term repeat customer relationships. With over 20 years chartering experience, we have the knowledge to find you fish.

The AlpenRose is located in a quiet neighborhood beside the forest. We are 3 mins to the gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and 5 mins from downtown and all amenities. I have four comfortable modern bedrooms. Each room has a beautiful view of the mountains, quality linens, private bathrooms with environmentally friendly bath products, full HD cable, wifi and in room climate controls. There is also a seasonal hot tub. You have a choice from a variety of breakfast options and your meal is prepared fresh daily using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Mara Lake RV Park & Campground offers 44 brand new, full service RV sites. Sites tailored to fit everything from Class A Motorhomes to tents and teardrop trailers. Every campsite comes standard with power, water, sanitary hookups and WiFi. All electrical services are 50 amp, if you require 30 amp service you will need a 30 amp adapter.

The Whistler Lodge is a 42 bed backpacker's hostel, centrally located just 3km south of Whistler Village and 1km north of Whistler Creekside. Our historic lodge was built in 1965 by students from UBC's Varsity Outdoor Club and until recently, was operated by the Alma Mater Society of UBC. Now under new ownership & management, we offer bunks in dorm style rooms as well as private and semi private rooms. If you are looking for an authentic Whistler experience, come stay with us!

Sept 4 to Dec 20 2025 Carr House is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10-4 for self-guided tours. Wander around the garden, explore the house, and browse the gift shop! Guided tours are offered on Fridays and Saturdays at 10, Noon, and 2 p.m. Carr House closes occasionally for special events. Please call ahead to confirm hours.
