Enjoy the restored Tram Car 1220, originally built in 1912, and the largest artefact in the City of Richmonds museum collection. Housed in a building inspired by the architecture of the first Steveston tram station, Tram Car 1220 now rests on its original rail tracks. Nicknamed the Sockeye Special, the interurban tram service carried workers from Vancouver to Steveston to work in the canneries, from 1905 to 1958.

Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Encouraging our guests to explore and appreciate the beautiful space, we provide complimentary use of two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Find us just off Hwy 97 between Okanagan Falls and Oliver, approximately 400km (250 miles) from Vancouver.
