Whether you're a seasoned pro rider or have never seen snow before, we're excited to share it with you. What makes Mt Seymour different?Mt Seymour is Vancouver's starting gate to winter recreation. We offer something for everyone: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, winter education programs, snowtubing, tobogganing, great food, and special events. Mt Seymour's elevation and proximity to the Pacific Ocean provides us with the most reliable and consistent snowfall in the region. While snow quality and quantity is important, our most recognized feature is a long-standing tradition of providing fun winter experiences for all abilities and ages! Mt Seymour features the right blend of natural and enhanced terrain. Beginners feel welcome and safe on our many gentle slopes that make learning fun and easy and more advanced skiers and riders appreciate the challenge and variety of the natural features, gullies, and our professionally sculpted terrain parks. Mt Seymour's Ski and Snowboard School offers a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of new and progressing skiers and riders. The school embodies our proud tradition of safety, fun, and learning. Snowtubing and tobogganing at our Enquist Lodge are exciting and accessible activities that are fun for families and friends of all ages. We also offer an excellent snowshoe program and were recently voted the No.1 snowshoe friendly ski resort in North America. We provide, guided tours, over 10 kilometers of dedicated snowshoe trails, and snowshoe rentals.

Facilities: Texas Creek Campground - 63 campsites, showers, flush toilets, boat launch. Marine Sites - 8 rustic sites accessible by boat only. Location: 20 km northeast of Grand Forks on Highway 3 at the north end of Christina Lake. Located on the popular Christina Lake in the Monashee Mountains, Gladstone Provincial Park offers fantastic camping and boating opportunities. The park also has 48 kms of hiking trails as well as backcountry horseback trails. Day-use and picnicking can be found at the nearby Christina Lake Provincial Park day-use area. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Marine Sites are user maintained. This Park is 100% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended. Texas Creek campground is open from the first weekend in May through the third weekend in September.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park has something for every level of rider. Gentle, banked cruisers through the Coastal forest. Tight and twisty single track - perfect for intermediate riders. For the armour clad, full face wearing, 50lb. bike group there are steep rock faces, gnarly, root strewn lines, drop offs of all descriptions and more.

Top quality salmon, halibut, ling cod fishing charters on Vancouver Island, B.C. We fish from April to June in Nanoose Bay, near Nanaimo for Chinook, then move over to Port Alberni, Barkley Sound and Bamfield from June to September. Our vessels are quality Grady White (27 and 23 feet), with washrooms and the best safety electronics available. We are Transport Canada certified, and our guides are CTAG certified - ensuring you have a safe, productive and fun filled trip. We only use the best fishing tackle available to maximize your experience. If you are looking for multi-day lodge trips we specialize in placing our guests in lodges in Bamfield and Barkley Sound. We offer trips customized to large corporate teams, as well as families with children. Our goal is to create a fishing experience that meets your diverse interests, creating long term repeat customer relationships. IMR is based in Cumberland, BC which is quickly becoming Vancouver Islands riding Mecca. If mountain biking is your religion then a pilgrimage to Cumberland is a must! Cumberland boasts a wide variety of trails right out the back door in its neighbouring forests. Cumberland is centrally located on the Island and is the perfect place to access the trails of other areas, such as; Forbidden Plateau/Comox Lake, Hornby Island and Campbell River. Island Mountain Rides is owned and operated by Martin Ready. Martin uses 12 years of guiding experience and over 20 years of mountain biking experience to ensure that you have a great time. Island Mountain Rides has legal land use agreements/tenures in all locations advertised. IMR is fully insured and has a comprehensive risk management plan in place to ensure your safety.

The Exploration Place is a Northern BC non-profit organization and registered charity whose goal is to preserve our local history and foster lifelong learning in the areas of science, technology heritage and culture. The Exploration Place is Northern BC's largest museum and only science centre Come discover local history, explore hands-on science, experience new exhibits, shop to your heart's content in Elements Retail, and grab delicious, fresh, locally-made treats in Origins Kitchen. The Little Prince Steam Engine operates seasonally, from the May long weekend to the September Labour Day statutory holiday, and then on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.

The Fort St. John North Peace Museum tells the story of the Fort St. John region from the dinosaurs to the oil and gas industries of today. Learn more about Indigenous people, the fur trade, homesteaders, and the development of Fort St. John and the North Peace region of British Columbia. Come explore a tepee, trapper's cabin, blacksmith's shop, 1921 school room, 1930s dentist office, missionary chapel, 1930 Outpost Hospital room, 1910 BC Police Barracks and Jail, Finch's General Store, and more! Try interactive activities like sorting mail in our post office. Our gift shop is a fabulous place to find books on the Peace Region, BC, Alberta, and the Yukon. We have a wide variety of souvenirs, clothing, stuffed animals, jewellery, and gifts. Our archives can help answer requests about the North Peace from photographs to genealogy. We're open Monday to Saturday year-round.

We are a full service paragliding facility , providing Tandem flights , lessons , equipment sales and service . We have accommodation on site from hostel to camping , our paragliding loft has full bathroom , hot showers and kitchen with fridge. Our teaching is from April 1st -Oct 15th. We provide tours in the winter to improve your flying skills during the winter to a variety of locations throughout the world.

One pet per cabin is welcome in 4 of the cabins. Two RV sites & One Tent site available, all firewood is provided. Rent a boat or bring your own and enjoy fishing for wild rainbow trout.
