We provide a variety of cultural tours into Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Marine Conservation Area, and Haida Heritage Site. Guests will have the opportunity to visit ancient village sites, meet the Haida Gwaii Watchmen, watch for wildlife, and experience nature on any one of our three different tours into Gwaii Haanas. On our West Coast Tour, we explore the Ancient Village site of Ts'aahl (Chaatl) where one can view two of the last frontal poles still standing since contact and learn about the history of the village. Welcome to the Roedde family's home. Gustav and Matilda Roedde settled in Vancouver in 1888. Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life.
