Adjacent to the Lillooet River, in the Pemberton Volcanic Belt, you will find Tsek Hot Springs and the sacred location of the In-SHUCK-ch and Státimc people (nkkwtsa) of British Columbia. The nkkwtsa established a permanent village of (s7)ístken (pit houses) and plank houses along the banks of the Lillooet River, and a series of trails through the nearby forests to hunting grounds and neighbouring villages. The mineral hot springs at Tsek provided our ancestors with physical and spiritual wellness, while the loose, sandy nature of the soil made the cedar tree roots grow long and straight. Tseks hot and cold springs became the most important spiritual site in the lower Lillooet River Valley. It is said that the cool spring served as a healing pool where the Elder mothers trained men to be chiefs, watchmen, and other important positions in the In-SHUCK-ch Nation. Pronounced chick, Tsek Hot Springs (also known as Skookumchuck Hot Springs and St. Agnes Well Hot Springs) has continuously been occupied and utilized by the Státimc people as a location to heal and cleanse the body and spirit centuries before Europeans arrived along our shores.

The winery sits on the rolling hills of our vineyard. The peak of the winery overlooks gorgeous views of peaceful Vaseux Lake. The land sits on 10 acres with five acres of planted grapes. Join us for a tasting, then sit and relax in our grassy amphitheatre. Take in the scenery, picnic, stay awhile and you never know which bird you may spot: could be a hawk, a couple of ospreys or other species.

Only 15 minutes past Hope BC, with 110 large 50-amp serviced sites, Sunshine Valley is a place for your familys outdoor adventures! Surrounded by the snow-capped Cascade Mountains it offers a wealth of recreational activities for all campers, including exceptional skiing and snowboarding at Manning Park in the winter months and miles of beautiful hiking trails in the summer. IMPORTANT: We practice catch & release for ALL trips. Under NO exceptions do we keep fish to bring home to eat. Minimum age requirement of 12. All guests MUST weigh between 80-250 lbs (36-113 kgs) due to limited equipment at this time. After picking you up from your accommodation in Whistler we will get you looking like a local BC angler by putting you in a pair of waders and boots. This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry! Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Cutthroat Trout and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a small stream, river or lake. Our thought process is simple. Drive less and fish more to maximize your time out on the water fishing. There are plenty of lunkers a short drive from the Whistler village.

I have been fishing for over 40 years, and have the knowledge and experience to make your fishing trip dreams come true. I will personally try my hardest to put you into fish at the prime times in conjunction with the tides and currents.
