We are a family owned and operated lakefront resort with lodging in modern, well-maintained cabins and RV park. We offer pontoon boat, aluminum boat with motor, kayak and canoe rentals. Each cabin and RV site has it's own assigned dock space. The fishing is great, Loon Lake has native rainbow trout only; it not stocked, but the fish are plentiful. Beautiful natural landscape with riparian shoreline. There is no beach, but enjoying a float, swimming off the end of the docks and jumping off a rented pontoon boat are very popular water activities on hot days. RV park has coin operated showers, bathrooms, firepits, free firewood and is pet friendly.
Windsure is a family-run watersports business, located at beautiful Jericho Beach in West Point Grey, Vancouver. Today, we work to share our love of three quintessential Vancouver watersports: Windsurfing, Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and Skimboarding. Regardless of experience, age, ability, or comfort-level, Windsure has a program designed for anyone looking to get out on the water. Offering everything from beginner and intermediate lessons to equipment rentals to youth summer camps, the team at Windsure is dedicated to creating an experience for as many watersport-seekers as possible! We offer several guided sea kayaking tours that range from an Inner Harbour paddle to a true West Coast paddling experience on a full day kayaking tour to a historic lighthouse. Enjoy the flavor of a local marina and paddle with us in Victoria's amazing ocean environment. In the world of heli-skiing, the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies are legendary. Crescent Spur fills a unique niche in the heli-skiing market by limiting occupancy to a maximum of 20 guests per week. That leaves over 250 runs in 1,500 square miles of terrain for a maximum of 20 skiers! The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing.
