Our cabins are clean, quiet, and close to all of the amenities and activities in New Denver and Slocan Lake. All of the cabins are equipped with a full kitchen including all pots, pans and cutlery. Comfortable beds with duvets and a TV make this a home away from home.

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a three-story, 30,400-square foot award-winning cultural centre designed to blend the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil'wat Istken. Cultural Ambassadors share their knowledge and stories with guests, on a guided tour, augmenting the information shared throughout the centre's curated collection of cultural carvings, regalia, weaving and contemporary art. Located at the hub of the Pacific Rim, the Alberni Valley has many treasures for you to discover. This traditional golf course has a rich history extending back to the 1920's. While there have been many improvements to the course over the years you can nevertheless feel the spirit of those who have roamed the fairways before you. This par 70 jewel follows the contours of a salmon bearing stream which comes into play on several holes and also makes its annual contribution to the world's salmon capital, Port Alberni.

We love fishing for salmon, halibut, ling cod and rock fish as well as pawning and crabbing. We provide year round fishing charters & marine tours. Whether you want to fish or explore the East Coast or West Coasts of Vancouver Island, we are ideally placed to move to where the fish are. Gardenside Acres is a small farm campground near the Butchart Gardens offering tent and breakfast camping in Brentwood Bay, BC.

100% Saanich grown wines. Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash".
