Kasiks Wilderness Resort, also known as Kasiks Lodge and Campground has 10 lodge rooms and 24 campsites. Kasiks is a great home base while exploring all the Northwest Coast has to offer. Explore our beautiful and cozy campground nestled amongst the trees surrounded by majestic mountains and near the banks of the Skeena River. We have space for bike camping and bike packing too! Add Kasiks Campground to your route planning as a safe space to rest and recharge on your journey. Kasiks lodge has 4 deluxe suites with private bathrooms and 6 standard rooms with shared bathrooms. Holly Hill Petting Farm is the proud home of Vancouver Island's only baby wallabies! We're an interactive and expansive petting farm nestled in the heart of Campbell River. There's always something special happening at the farm, from the Christmas Stable with Santa to the Easter Extravaganza and Pumpkin Patch. From March through October, you're invited to explore and immerse yourself in our free-ranging barnyard. Get ready for a truly hands-on experience as you hold chickens, snuggle baby bunnies, brush mini goats, and hand-feed our friendly alpacas and horse. McLean Mill is a rare, surviving example of an early-to-mid 20th century logging and lumber operation in British Columbia. Established in 1925 by Robert Bartlett McLean, his wife Cora and their three sons, it continued as a family-run operation until 1965. McLean Mill was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1989 to commemorate its collection of extant resources related to significant aspects of the forest industry. Whether you wish to take in the history or to go for scenic walk with your family or fur baby, you wont be disappointed. The surroundings are breathtaking and informative.
