- The Infinite Coast runs the entire length of British Columbia with major hubs like Victoria on southern Vancouver Island, Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, Bella Coola on the central coast, and Prince Rupert on the north coast. Start your journey at YYJ in Victoria on Vancouver Island. From there, travelling between coastal communities by land, sea, or air, is part of the experience, with options to take a ferry, hop on a floatplane, or drive scenic highways. Many remote wilderness lodges on the coast also offer private transportation.
- Choose a section of The Infinite Coast to explore for three to four days, or extend your trip and link various destinations together over one or more weeks. Factor in travel time when planning your trip. Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast are in close proximity to one another and accessible by short ferry trips, while the central and north coast of British Columbia are more remote, requiring overnight ferries, multi-day road trips, or flights.

Late spring and summer temperatures are pleasant, moderated by the ocean breeze and misty mornings.
