Sleigh Rides Through Winter Wonderland I grew up on a farm learning the value of the horse. In my early years I had a team of ponies that took kids out toboggans, which eventually led my teams and I to do Christmas Rides in town. When not doing sleigh rides, I am working my teams on the farm doing everything from chores, to working the fields. All of my years with the horses, has led me to be able to offer sleigh rides at Big White during the winter months.

Welcome to the Roedde family's home. Gustav and Matilda Roedde settled in Vancouver in 1888. Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life. Welcome to Skmana Ski and Snowshoe Club. Our ski and snowshoe club offers 18 kms of track set classic ski trials and a generous offering of designated snow shoe trails. All are well marked and cover a very wide range of natural forest, lakes and streams. Families, social groups and individual skiers and snowshoers will all find the trails very user friendly. You wont be disappointed!
