Built in 1989 by owner/operator Chris Bennett from locally salvaged red cedar, Blackfish Lodge is a charming, family-run fly-in floating lodge located in British Columbia Canada, within the new Great Bear Rainforest, about 30 miles east of the northern end of Vancouver Island. Blackfish Lodge offers both fresh and saltwater fishing opportunities for all skill and experience levels. When you fish with us there are no pre-set fishing hours, we will fish each day as conditions and your preferences guide us. The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.

We also offer private lessons, boat tours, water taxis and rescue. No boat licence required; we provide you with a detailed tutorial of how to operate the pleasurecraft safely and provide a temporary boat licence valid for the duration of your rental. Lifejackets and safety equipment are all included in your rental, as well as a tow rope when renting any form of tow equipment. Our trained staff will gladly answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the lake, places to go, or how to tow a person. Lillooet's Historic Home is currently closed due to renovations. Learn about the prominent families who once lived in the heritage house. See Dr. Miyazaki's office just as he left it, museum artifacts, historic photos, antiques, and gift shop. Local art, cultural and community events are held at the house and grounds during the season. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Artique is a co-op gallery of close to 30 Powell River working artists and craftspersons who collectively display their work for sale. These include greeting cards and works on paper, jewellery of metals and precious stones, pottery, soaps and lotions, photography, watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylics on canvas and board, fine textiles, stained glass, glass beads, and wood and stone sculptures.

Step inside the backcountry and share some good times, great food and amazing beer. Take a growler to go or stay and enjoy the pizza, salads, sausages and snacks from the Backcountry Kitchen. This is a great place for families to enjoy and after 8 pm we dim the lights and crank up the tunes. A lot of care has gone into the design of the room, please come and immerse yourself. Cheers!

Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao.
