Located on 20 beautiful acres of riverfront property, we offer 8 cabins and 2 lodge rooms. We have an amazing wedding venue - a rustic barn with just enough modern touches and beautiful exposed wood to make any event stunning! Ceremony and reception can be help at the same place with stunning backdrops of the mountains and Blaeberry River. Summer 2020 has us going back to our original business model rather than hosting weddings so we are excited to offer cabin rentals this year. If you've wanted to come stay with us in recent years and haven't been able to, now is your chance! Winter time is magical out here - our cabins sit amongst snowy trees and have wood burning fireplaces! Snowshoe trails are put in right on site as well. The cabins are all equipped with basic kitchenettes as there is no restaurant on site. Golden is a short, 10 minute drive away and offers a great selection of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It's a must see property with lots to see and do.

The Oceanfront Hotel is a pet friendly family owned business that has been run by us ( Robin and Ray ) for the last 30 years. It boasts panoramic sea views from the majority of our rooms. Guests can enjoy the sound of the ocean from their balconies and bring along their pets for the ultimate family getaway. This beachfront property is located 250 feet from Sointula ferry terminal. Your ferry fare includes the return trip and seniors travel free from Monday - Thursday. Cable TV, a microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, and a mini fridge is standard in each brightly decorated room with use of a communal kitchen. Private kitchens and kitchenettes are also available in select rooms. Free wifi is offered in all areas. Whale-watching, sports fishing and crabbing charters are available, just ask us! Beach combing for sea-glass, hiking trails and kayaking opportunities are also available from our property! Come enjoy our small island lifestyle, and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and at peace! Oh, and please drink the water! It's the best in the world! We offer both short and long term accommodations. While our pub is currently closed due to COVID, we have opened a new takeout window that is open for lunch and dinner from 11:30-1:30/5-8 every day! The Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat is a Christian Not-For-Profit Retreat Centre. The Retreat is a ministry of Youth For Christ Canada, an organization that ministers to at risk youth across Canada. The Retreat will be used in the training and care of Youth For Christ leaders. The location is nestled in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Our mandate is to provide a place for rest, renewal and growth. When the Retreat is not in use by Youth For Christ staff it will be available as a restorative setting ideal for personal and group retreats, workshops, conferences requiring accommodation as well as for individuals seeking a place for personal renewal and restoration. The Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat is wheelchair accessible and has 17 beautifully appointed suites, full dining experience and versatile meeting spaces.
