The Campground and Day-Use Area was minimally affected by the Rock Creek Fire. Facilities: 113 campsites, 1 large group site, public beach and day-use area, playground, shower, flush toilets, sani-station. Location: 5 km north of Rock Creek on Highway 33. Kettle River Recreation Area is one of the largest and most popular destination family campgrounds in the Okanagan - Boundary Region. Located minutes from amenities in Rock Creek, it is only 45 minutes from Osoyoos and 90 minutes from Kelowna. Campers will want to bring their bikes and floaties! This park offers fantastic biking/hiking opportunities and access to the historic Trans Canada Trail network. A bike pump track was recently added and is a hit with kids of all ages. In the summer months, campers walk their tubes and floaties to the Kettle River that flows alongside the campground, while others enjoy basking on the sandy beaches and swimming in the river. The iconic Kettle River Trestle at the day-use serves as a beautiful backdrop for park users and is a great photo opportunity! Reservations are strongly recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Spring and Fall campers enjoy large, sun-filled sites in a peaceful, pristine setting. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the Host Site. Open from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in September.

Off the main area are patio doors leading to a spacious lakeview deck with large picnic tables, BBQ, side table, sink and natural gas fire pit with 6 chairs and 2 stools. On the lower level there are three bedrooms, laundry room and another bathroom with spacious shower.

Vaseux Lakeside Resort is a fully equipped, four-unit townhouse property, located in the sunny south Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Step out the glass slider onto the spacious deck, only a stone's throw from the beach and water's edge. The living area includes a double pullout sofa bed. To ensure your view from bed is unobstructed, the balcony is glass-enclosed. The Vaseux Lake region is a protected wilderness area that provides habitat for a variety of species of flora and fauna, including many which are rare and endangered. Nearby trails offer good hiking and cycling, including the Kettle Valley Trail, just minutes away. Built in 1989 by owner/operator Chris Bennett from locally salvaged red cedar, Blackfish Lodge is a charming, family-run fly-in floating lodge located in British Columbia Canada, within the new Great Bear Rainforest, about 30 miles east of the northern end of Vancouver Island. Blackfish Lodge offers both fresh and saltwater fishing opportunities for all skill and experience levels.
