Welcome to Mackenzie, BC where the wild roam free! The RV Park includes 18 full service (50 amp) sites, 9 with power only (30 amp) sites, and 7 no-service sites. Tourists may stay 2 nights for free (non-service sites), please register at the Public Works Office. All sites include free firewood, wireless internet, hot showers/flush toilets, and a sani dump near by.

Sandspit/K'il Kun, is the southernmost community on Haida Gwaii, and the only community on Moresby Island. We are the last stop and gateway to Gwaii Haanas. We also pride ourselves on our gift shop which is a beautiful space to browse while you wait for your flight, where you will find books, souvenirs, and local art before you leave the islands. Bike rentals available. The Sandspit Visitor Centre is usually opened on flight days, around plane times. Please note the Sandspit Visitor Centre is sometimes closed at short notice due to staffing shortage. The Centre is also usually closed if a flight is cancelled.
