We are a family owned guest ranch located in the wilderness of the South Cariboo region of British Columbia.

Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is a British Columbia original, sitting on Tyaughton Lake and surrounded by the Southern Chilcotin Mountains. The lodge offers a fusion of luxury and comfort while retaining a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The area is renowned for outdoor adventure, with an endless trail system providing some of the best alpine biking routes, hiking trails and nature walks that BC has to offer. Kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding are complimentary to our guests. The resort boasts a beautiful lake view dining room & patio with stunning views, high arched ceilings and a breathtaking stone fireplace. The kitchen features a seasonal a la carte menu from a passionate team of chefs. The Spa includes 3 treatment rooms, an infrared and dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, outdoor Hot Tub, yoga studio, and therapists who can assist you after sport or during your absorption of tranquillity. Additionally, guests can choose to stay at one of the three luxury wilderness chalets at the resort. Offering private accommodations for up to 18 guests (depending on the chalet), they are perfect for a family reunion or getaway. In the summer, if camping is more your approach, guests can choose from five RV lakefront sites and one non-lakefront site. We also have five tent friendly campsites available with water, washrooms, and showers. One tent per site, four people per site maximum.

Located in the heart of a scenic historic community and minutes from the Inner Harbour area our pet-friendly Victoria location offers easy access to Victoria International Airport YYJ. We are only a few minutes from Mayfair Shopping Centre which features over upscale 120 shops. Head to the Inner Harbour area and go on a whale watching tour walk through Fishermans Wharf Park or view the exhibits at the Royal British Columbia Museum.

Led by an experienced guide, our small groups journey to remote areas in western Canada. One trip is "8 Days in Haida Gwaii, a low key, active trip with a cultural focus. One day, we take in the site of the village of Skedans. The next day, we may visit a carver in his studio, or perhaps get smudged. The Fair at the PNE is the best part of summer! For the last two weeks of August through the Labour Day long weekend, The Fair features more than 50 rides and attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural and animal displays, games, and food. It's fun for all ages plus children 13 years and under are free with an adult admission. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) fairgrounds was established in 1910 to showcase British Columbia. The PNE operates on a 114-acre site at the City of Vancouver-owned Hastings Park and consists of Playland, the annual 15-day Fair at the PNE, and Fright Nights at Playland. The PNE also includes year-round rental facilities for concerts, conventions, trade shows and sporting events with the Pacific Coliseum the largest venue within Hastings Park. The Pacific Coliseum was proud to be the official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is currently home to the WHL's Vancouver Giants hockey team. No single location in Vancouver captures the spirit and history of this city, its people and its many achievements as the Pacific National Exhibition. For over 100 years, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities and, of course, the annual Fair at the PNE.
